When I first met Sara and Jeff; I couldn’t help but instantly become friends with them! They are both quirky and funny and love their cats. They even brought their cat with them to their engagement session. This was definitely a first for me! Normally my couples bring their dogs, but it was fun to see them interact.

When they told me they planned to get married at Tycoga Winery in Dewitt, I was so excited! Tycoga and their staff are phenomenal and the views are some of the best in Iowa during sunset.

I knew that their wedding was going to be one that I absolutely loved. They both wanted a small, intimate wedding with their closest friends and family and that is exactly what they had.

And if you haven’t been to Tycoga(which you totally should because their wine slushies are the bomb.com!) I mean can we even be friends if you don’t like wine slushies?!! Their getting ready area for the bride is fantastic for photos. They have thought of so many of the little details and the area allows me to get creative in both my lighting and placement.
