Keith and Cassie have managed a long distance relationship while also being moved from multiple locations in a short amount of time; thanks to the Air Force. In fact, as I am writing this; they are traveling back to Utah where they now live…and Keith will leave for training on Friday. As Cassie said Saturday night; “such is the life in the Air Force.” They both have made the distance, time and multiple moves look effortless. I cannot wait to see where their journey in life takes them from here.
As every bride in the midwest knows, in October; the weather can do many things. This Saturday was no exception! As the week prior progressed, Saturday looked to be rain. All.day.long. But as our luck would have it…it rained that morning and then cleared up. Except for a mini monsoon that blew through 3 minutes before the outdoor ceremony. These two and all of their guests were troopers, waited out the storm and then the ceremony went on like it never happened.
Quarters One on Arsenal Island is a stunning venue. Wrap around covered porches, huge winding staircases and natural light galore. Those wrap around porches came in handy during portraits as well as that mini monsoon. There is such an air of elegance and history at Quarters One, you can’t help but get caught up in the beauty of your surroundings.
Of course, this day went off without a hitch because the vendor team was amazing and Cassie’s mom worked tirelessly to make sure her daughter’s vision was executed perfectly. And it was!
