You guys, I seriously could photograph California all day!  Like, they have the best light, old cars, and the architecture…..be still my heart!  I just had to jump in and show a glimpse of day one exploring the coast.  From north of Malibu, through Pacific Palisades to Los Angeles.  The marine layer created some amazing haze along the coast (although not the most fun thing to drive through!)

We stopped at a gas station and I happened to see this old yellow Chevrolet Apache truck in the back lot.  I made my husband wait(who just laughs anymore when I yell “WAIT, STOP!”  So I can jump out to take a picture.  I wish I could bring this one home with me!

And then…..the doorways!  I mentioned a project about photographing all of the amazing doors of Malibu….I just might have to come back and do that!

Anyways, just a glimpse of day 1.
